Very interesting images from the display held in Australia in 2005. Most of the photos were taken at my local airfield, some were taken at the RAAF Museum (ie Hawker Hart) some at the Antique Aircraft Associations annual event, while the WW1 stuff was taken at Omaka in NZ earlier this year.

If you are interested in the WW1 aircraft, then you really should get over to New Zealand. They have a lot of original and replica WW1 aircraft, most owned by Peter Jackson, the guy behind the Lord of the Rings films. They are holding an event at Wanaka next year, and at Omaka, Blenheim the year after, as they alternate the events. I went this year and it was fantastic.
Just to note that Martin Hone is also very experienced builder of the light airplanes.
