The book contains 48 pages full of text and photos, some of them being in colors; but there are also many profiles and nice drawings. The book begins with the genesis of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and depicts shortly the predecessors of the Bf 109 G. The different versions of the Bf 109 G and K are described, but also the DB 605 engine variations. There is also an official report made in the USA regarding a captured 109 G. The different users of those aircrafts are depicted: Germany of course, but also Bulgaria, Cratia, Czechoslovakia, Finland, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Romania, Slovak Republic, Spain, Switzerland and Yugoslavia. There is also a short presentation of the post-war Avia S-199 (Czech Bf 109 G with a Jumo engine). No less than 53 profiles made by Srecko Bradic bring to that book a rich iconography, that are completed by 73 drawings from Jean Claude Mermet. And the cover is a painting realized by Srecko Bradic.

The texts (in English) are clear, understandable and easy to read. I have enjoyed to read this book and I’m very glad to add it in my documentation. For sure, it will be very useful! You may have your sample here!
