Devastator I say, with some nice pre-war "Yellow Wings" decals. That would be a charm.

I like it! For now i don't work on other kits except jets, but i always love to see some new and interesting build, especialy when it is in some exotic and unusual markings!! ;)
Bravo!! :-clap :-clap :-clap :-clap

Thank you so much for your kind words, Sall. Don't worry about working solely on jets. There are some very interesting designs out there. Personaly, I find the Embraer AMX, Soko and Saab jets to be absolutely charming arplanes.

Have a great weekend!

Thank you! Does Commando5 have a web site or way of ordering their kits online?
Ernie

Hi Ernie,

They used to have an e-mail address to get in touch with them. If I recall correctly it was the owner's e-mail, intbrig@yahoo.com.br. Also commando5@commando5.com.br would do.

I believe they've been out of business for some time now. But they had lovely airplanes used in Brasil, like this Waco, the Vultee VG-11 in several options, Gloster Meteors and some 1/35 wheeled vehicles.

Thanks Ernie, it was a great experience after so many years without building a resin kit.

Have a great weekend,

Hi guys!!!

I finished this kit a few days before New Year's Eve. It's from a brazilian cottage manufacturer called Commando5. Easy to build, but not without its challenges. I loved it.

Did I mention I'm a Waco fan? :-love

I'm tempted to believe that there were differences beetween Davids. They were "cottage" industry after all. A single chimney for the stove and a breather for the stern section seem common place. My personal opinion is that while they were built using the clinker way, they also had a coat of tar to make them water proof. After all, they were semi-submersible and having a very low profile, very prone to embarking water, even in a river like enviroment. And the dark hue of tar was also perfect for night operations as well. :-wch

I have a longing penchant for Confederate and Union ships :))
