Just few steps and this is complete ;)

Hi mate,  :-salut :-salut

I arrive too late on your post...  :-red
The plane you have presented (NV 724) joined 3 Squadron only in August 1945. It's likely he never flew it and the plane was used only for portraying the ace...
Clostermann's two last operationnal planes were respectively NV 994 (two kills on 20 April 1945 (duration : from 19.30 to 21.05) and SN 222. He flew some missions with the latter on 3 (5.50 to 7.00 and 15.40 to 16.40), 4 (6.40 to 8.10 and maybe 15.00 to 16.05) and 7 May 1945 from 10.30 to 12.50.
From Hawker archives the Eduard Tempest V is a little too short but it's not worth correcting this shortcoming. The two most important inaccuracies of the kit are the wingroots ressembling the ones of the Typhoon (too thick) and the outline of fin and its too thick leading edge which actually was as a razor blade.

Cheers,

Jicehem
