Su-7 Brassin seat 1/48

Su-7 Brassin seat 1/48

[dropcap]E[/dropcap]duard previously released 1148 Su-7 kit in 1/48 scale, it was an old KP/OEZ kit but upgraded with Eduard’s brassin,  PE parts and masks. After a while Eduard decided to treat us with set 648024 Sukhoi Su-7 seat in 1/48 scale. Since I had a KP kit (packed as OEZ) and to be honest I am not a particular fan of this airplane, I was ecstatic when I saw this set announced.

As the rest of the Brassin seats Su-7 seat is also packed in reusable blister pack protected by foam. Set contains one photoetched fret with 23 mostly prepainted parts, two resin parts and assembly instructions. Resin seat is nice, crisp and clean beautifully molded with outstanding level of details. If you compare your references with this seat, you will find that it is very accurate, and almost tiniest detail is represented on the brassin seat. Photoetched parts supplied in this set, will add those small placards with service inscriptions, harness and let’s don’t forget launch rails that will add more realistic look to this seat. Once completed this seat will look so good that it would be a shame to insert it in the cockpit. Instructions are clear and easy to follow so I find them very helpful. As other Brassin products, Eduard leaves to modeler to find his reference for painting the brassin products. In this case I can suggest to download Eduard instruction sheet for their Su-7 kit , I know I am going to use that as reference.

This seat is outstanding and highly detailed, sure you have to have some experience working with these parts but of all Brassin seats this seat is the easiest to work with. This set is highly recommended!
