...Oh yes, and the fact that I sprayed matt varnish over the gloss yellow helped to avoid the fact that the tape could let some traces on the paint...

Thank you mate! Yes, it was my very first try. That's why my first intention was to use decals, I had no experience for that kind of camo... But finally, it's really easy! ;)

Good progress today...

First I masked the turquoise, then I sprayed the German Dope from Mister Kit Colors. Then I applied the straky with a nr 10 paintbrush and Fokker Olive Green (Mister Kit Colors). And finally I removed the masks...

I have no information about Fokkers Dr.I in use during the Russian Civil War. But there was an all-black dr.I by the Germans: the one of Jacobs. A special one because Jacobs replaced the original engine by a Clerget...

Could be interresting to obtain some infos on KuK dr.I's... Pricipally if SWORL camo was used!
