Question What are you using as putty for resin kits.Is modeling putty ok or you need to use something else?

Glad you like it. Generaly as filler should be used epoxy filler but Tamya could do that work too. I used on this sample Revell with no problem.

This evening I have made some more work. First i put a stick of balsa wood inside in order to keep pieces in the good position. then the intersection gap I have fill with two parts epoxy thick glue which cement parts but also work as filler. This was sanded, filled with standard model filler and then sanded again. Finaly shape is achieved as well stable standing... model get tail as well canopy.

Assume you know that polyacrylate glue will make the transparant canopy opaque!
I always use woodglue!
These resin kits mostly have detailed 3-view drawings and I really would like to see this on the forum!
Nice to see such a quite old kit turn into a model!!

This is corect what you said Nico- this transparencies are sensitive to the micro evaporating from this type of glue. Well- i have chech today how look like surface after surgery. Not perfect and there will be more filler add as well spray coat of the 2K liquid filler.

Hi Nro.1,

it's great to come back to the forum and see such a wonderful work on a resin kit. I've gotten a Waco CSO from a brazilian company called Commando 5 and it is rough to say the least. But I'll get thru with it.

Keep up the goord work.

Good luck!
