Group Build> F-84
« on: October 01, 2011, 10:05:57 AM »
Dear friends,

time to start new Group Build and this time is the Republic design F-84. My kit is Revell 1/48 kit and it is crisp mold and look like very good kit. Images show parts inside box.

I'll be doing a couple of old Monogram F-84Fs. This first one will be either in Belgian or Dutch colors. No.1 sent me the Dutch roundels :-ok and I have a very old sheet from a Heller RF-84F. We'll see how it goes as to what markings end up on the airplane. Also there is a straight-wing Tamiya kit in the storage if time permits.

For me it's also matter of time - if possible, I'll join with Hobby Boss or Academy F-84G (or maybe both), anyway they're going to be in Yugoslav markings - one NMF and other camouflaged

So far this is my contribution:

This cockpit tub and the canopy sections in the background were part of an old build and are all that survived. I may use them to save time if the cockpit cleans up sufficiently.
