Yes, but I'd really like to see the ship number of that particular machine. More research! :-ok

Good one mate :)) Did Airfix have different wing bottom as well E-1 have machine guns in wings?

Here's a photo of the breech fairing on the underside of the Emil wing. To model the cannon-armed airplane you simply install the correct leading edge section, open the hole in the wing surface (I forgot to do this after gluing the wings together but the hole is easy to find) and glue on the fairing.

Also, with this kit, there are bombs and drop tanks as well as many canopy sections for the various options. My spares box runneth over!

I very much like this kit as stated earlier. It is really quite simple to build and I like how it looks when finished. One area of criticism I do have is that the sprue attachment points are sometimes quite thick and in hard-to-trim places. The wing slats are very hard to remove from the trees wiithout damaging them, for example. The canopy sections also suffer a little from this. These are minor problems, though, and the fit throughout is excellent. Glue isn't even needed on some parts!

Here's the finished Airfix Emil. The 2./JG 26 markings came from a Superscale sheet and represent the machine of  Oberleutnant Fritz Losigkeit approximately in March/April of 1940.

Long time ago their Bf109E in 1/72 scale was most accurate at all, I have feeling that this one is good one too! Nice work!
