Thank you !

And here comes the continuation on my Alba. The wooden surfaces on both sides are done, I will make a few fine adjustments to equalize the shades and then comes the first layer of gloss cote.

In the meantime new goodies for my Albatros arrived, both are product of Gaspatch models, air speed indicator and turnbuckles. First the air speed indicator, i was speechless when I saw this...

Wing-strut mounted airspeed indicator was also used on other German types.
Here is the one as fitted on a Fokker D-VII replica under construction by Dick Funcke at Berkhout, the Netherlands.

Thank you all for your kind words and thanks Nico Braas for this great picture. In the meantime I equalized the wood paint on both sides, now I'm satisfied with the look, looks more natural.

So I moved on the down and upper surfaces. First I replaced all the lost details during sanding and started to paint. Mine method of painting is very slow, if you are interested in I will share it with all of you.

The slow hull painting and drying is finally over so i can continue my work on the Alba. I prepared all the places for turnbuckles, fuselage and wings as well ( here I 'm showing only the fuselage ). First I marked the places to be drilled, for even distance between the holes I used 1/32 scale riveter for marking and then just drilled the holes preparing by this the place for turnbuckles.

While the putty on the big cat is drying I continued the fight with my Alba  :)

I started to paint the national insignia, started with the white, with a slight shading

In the meantime the propeller is detailed up with photo - etched parts from the box and finished
