Airfix P-40 1/72
« on: May 11, 2012, 11:09:09 AM »
Greetings all,

I start this morning new build for review. First impression of the new Airfix kit is great, parts are match very precisely and my primary interest is to build it with Eduard set. One of important steps you see on images are trim of the surface and plastic, very important to make space for the etched parts. Also I spray metal parts in green.

This looks really nice, and they got the curved shape of the cockpit "floor" just right. This looks every bit as nice as the 1/48 Bf-109E that I like so much!

Excellent work my friend; the PE gives a better value to the kit that sounds very nice; from far better than their 109G...

This morning work :) A lot of work need to place every rib in proper position and then wait for each one to be cemented. But this goes good :)
