350 "Belgian" Sqn Spitfire MK Vb

I will begin same kit than "Second Airforce" Scott: the 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire MK Vb "Trop".
I bought that kit some years ago at a very attractive price but even at that moment I knew that I will not build a desert Spitfire but an aircraft that flew with the Belgian pilots of the 350th Squadron during WWII.
With the kit I will use Syhart decals (great quality) and the SAC metal landing gears; from the PE from PART I will only use the seatbelts and I will of course use the splendid instrument panel made by Yahu

Thank you!
Well, that's started now. First stage was to remove all useful parts from sprue. Then I've drilled holes in some parts of the structure; I have removed the instrument panel of the kit and just to see what will be the result with Yahu one, I've placed it on kit part: stunning!
Then I've washed the canopy parts with Klir...

Yes, drilling those holes in the bulkhead frames is so easy and adds extra detail. The instrument panel looks really fantastic. I'll paint my kit-provided panel for comparison, maybe even tonight.....

First, I have removed the seatbelts from PART: there are not correct. I've ordered for Eduard ref 49006 WWII UK seatblets that is perfect.
Then I've airbrushed white primer

I've airbrushed the interior green.
...Guess what I've forgotten to airbrush...?

I confess that I am so lazy that I attach the transparencies before spraying the interior color.....

Back to the Spit...
I have used wash from Citadel Colors and then Tamiya pastels.
It was time to place the instrument panel from Yahu: gorgeous... Stunning... So beautiful!
Then half fuselage are glued together as well as the canopy elements.
