Yes, everything is crisp and the wheelwell details match the Monogram kit closely. The designers at Monogram back in those days did a great job of research on the Century series. Monogram's only problem was using raised panel lines and Trumpeter has delicate engraved lines instead.
I've read in various places that Trumpeter just copied the old kit, but I would rather think they used the Monogram offering as a reference starting point for their own molds. After all, if both are relatively accurate they would look about the same!
