The MiG-21PF that is now at Cosford is the former Hungarian air force '503'. It spent many years with 'Aces High' and then at the Bournemouth Aviation Museum before going to Farnborough, and then to Cosford last year. I know that aircraft very well, I was at the Museum when it first arrived still with its Hungarian number on the nose. It was re-painted in the non-standard colour scheme at the Bournemouth museum. The missiles under its wings are wooden dummies made at the Bournemouth museum, but I think there are plans to fit it with proper Soviet-era missiles.
