MiG-29K Arctic exercise
At the March 27th, 2018, crews of carrier-based MiG-29K aircraft of the Northern fleet, perform training in complex meteorological conditions over the territory of the Murmansk region, of air combat and the destruction of imaginary enemy in difficult weather conditions of the Arctic.
The pilots perform take-off and landing exercises, practicing the skill of performing complex aerobatics, tactical techniques for intercepting and attacking air targets, operating at different altitudes. Training were held both during the day and at night.

“Difficult weather conditions did not prevent pilots to perform all the tasks assigned to them, showing skill and professionalism. All the air was raised by 8 MiG-29K”, said the head of the press service of the Northern fleet, Vadim Serga.
