Letecke muzeum Kbely

I have visit aviation museum at Kbely, Czech Republic, few years ago and my impressions is still so high! The same place is nice, in past that was military air base and there was airport Praha-Kbely. It have long history as well it is established in 1918 and its place took museum of aviation in 1968.

Aircraft are placed inside hangars as well outside of hangars and from entrance gate, there is nice visible path to guide you through site. Apart from airplanes, there is placed also helicopters but a lot of the equipments (aircraft engines, parts of airplane dragons, armament, outfits, uniforms, banners, awards…). Nice to mention is that some aircraft are arranged and displayed as diorama, so you can have impression how this look like in real life once upon a time. This is among the largest aviation museums in the Europe and it holds airplanes from WW1 era to the modern. In general it present aviation history of Czechoslovak and Czech aviation, primary military aviation but you can also find some samples of foreigner types, which was never in their service.
