The Republic F-84F Thunderstreak was an American-built swept-wing turbojet fighter-bomber. While an evolutionary development of the straight-wing F-84 Thunderjet, the F-84F was a new design. West Germany was one of the operators of this type.

In the early service Republic F-84F Thunderstreak was delivered in the natural metal with only anti glare panel in front of windscreen in Olive Drab color, sometimes in black. During the service they get camouflage pattern regular for NATO coutries but the same paints are of German origin. Color used for camouflage was RAL 6014 Olivgrun, RAL 7012 Dunkelseegrau with RAL 7001 Silbergrau at the bottom.
