Steel container and padlock

Model products are spreading the range and it is hard to say what makes this influence, many skilled modelers who build some amazing subjects or more and more archive images available. One of the last releases made by Hauler is the steel container and padlocks. Definitely a product for those who look for extra details!!! And very interesting is that both are in 1/72 scale.

Steel container has stock code HLH72031. Content is very simple, one brass sheet with parts for the two containers inside. This is typical industrial containers and primary place where you will find it is the industrial production plants, mostly machine/ metal industry but for sure in other branch of industries these could be found. Main container body in kit is of cross shape where these extended parts need to be bent. Additional parts are bottom and top and stands.

Padlocks are simple as possible; many samples provided on the sheet and all presented are in open position. This product is much more universal and can be used in many diorama builds. Since padlocks are widely used, you can use in many possible builds.

Use of this product is simple. I have first sprayed them with Black primer and after it was dried, I sprayed a coat of dark iron paint. This coat is interesting as well it is great base if you need to represent worn out paints on your subject. Final paint depends on your subject, I painted the container in yellow and it can be in others colors too. Yellow is much used in industrial coats so I take it as good general representative color for kit.
