The second prototype L6845 in aluminium colour scheme with Westland chief test pilot Harald Penrose in the cockpit. Note the mudguards fitted on the main wheels. At the production Whirlwind these were omitted. We also see the small acorn shaped filler at the tail that was later enlarged on the production type!
