The F-8 is an awesome machine, and your profiles are excellent!

Some years ago I worked with a fellow who was crew chief/plane captain on a VF-24 Crusader.

Yes, he had a number of stories about the F-8. One of them was that there were some hydraulic components and tubes under the wing (where it raised for landing) that were very, very hard to work on. The problem was that leaks often occurred under there..... More later!
