Greetings all,
few hours ago i get info that for one publication is urgently need color profiles of Draken. Deadline- Monday ! My starting point- nothing!! In half of hours I have collect all I have about the subject, famous Swedish fighter plane SAAB J-35 Draken. New folder is created with material about this plane. Can you believe that I even did not have a folder about this plane.
So I start half of hour after midnight. Here what I have done- basic shape and all panels. In Monday there have to be five finished profiles.
Well- we have action here :-tri

It is 2.45, 2 hours and 15 minutes of the start. Basic shadows are made as well shape of the cockpit. I think I will go to rest and continue in the morning when I wake up.

Good advance...
this plane looks wonderful and has some interesting coloring solutions :-ok
-
One sample of D model is painted the same as the later Viggen but I can not find large good image to make a sample.
-
Now I have corrected many of the panels, add some new and work more on the shadows. Next stap- rivets, bolts and so on. So see ya tonight :))
-
Something is add and more later.

Looks good so far,I have no doubt it would look great once you've done with it...
This is one rather pretty plane and though I am not Jet fan this plane is on my list of exceptions...
Can't wait to see it finished :-ok

Basic metal effect done :-razz
-
Final version!!! Now will be made few samples of this nice plane :-clap
-
The first one- J 35D from the F 18 unit. This is typically early version of the service plane in many aspect. First, the plane have inlet gills on dorsal spin and there was later used small intake, and the early markings lack of the many of the service inscriptions. Personal number is 14 and on the tail is unit badge. Unit previously operated Hunters.
-
Second one- J 35B from F16 based at Upsala. Aircraft wear standard camouflage consisted of the 438M Blä Grä and 328M Mörk Oliv Grön on the topside and the 058M Blägrä at the bottom. Note that underside grey does not cover all areas and some sections are left in bare metal. Worn our radome coat is interesting to see.

You know I never told you this but this was my first kit ever build (as a child my parents bought it in children store here in Belgrade) :-love
I used ordinary "OHO" glue for kit and decals also :-red Played with it for a few days and lost all the parts...
I was 7-8 years old and the kit was VEB or Escii I can't remember :-/
