Very nice subject for work. I wanted to do it some two years ago but as well I could not find images of Gratz railroad station I have canceled idea.

Bombing was done by sergeant Karlo Murko and load was four Stankovic bomb, each 106 kg. Flight level in route was 2000 meters and escort was made by Hurricanes. In the Austrian airspace they flew low, up to 300 meters height and 380 km/h. Murko’s first bomb hit the wagons, second rail crossing, third direct hit into the two floor building store, fourth hit the depot but the explosion was not clearly observed. In return he spotted military vehicle column and open machine gun fire on it. Turret gunner also open fire from time to time on ground targets.

Color profile present his airplane and cockpit close up show him in the cockpit.
