I love it! Here is the B-25 from the Canadian Warplane Heritage, I took the photo last March. I've been lucky enough to see it fly quite often as well as the Lanc.

What a big image mate :-eek :-clap Good for close up details. Here I am in the more progress on this plane. In this moment I work on B-25 and P-51 layouts but from next week I will add B-24 but also several profiles based on my old layouts. This will be heavy month for me...

Here are some shots I made two year ago at Lelystad airoprt during a Fly-in at the Aviodrome museum.
They all show the Duke of Brabant Air Force Mitchell. Note the nice artwork!

Very interesting- this is J model but where is the turret?
-
Plane was originally a B-25J-20-NC and was built in 1944.
It never saw any action during the war, but remained in the United States.
After the war in was converted into unarmed transport version.
Of course transport Mitchells do not need any turrets!
It was struck of charge by USAF in March 1959 and had several owners before it was acquired by DBAF in 1990.
Current colour scheme is correct, but version is not (yet) original!
-
Well, No1, the bigger the plane there is more screws. :) Painsteaking work (or it is not so much in photoshop, but I belive it is). Great work :-wave :-wave :-wave :-wave :-wave :-wave

Any more girls? :))

Off course- few nice blonds just pass near my house... :))

How about this one from the Dutch Mitchell?
It's not a blonde but that doesn't matter....
'Plesiran 'neer?' is Dutch/Indonesian for 'Have fun mister?'
Do I have to explain more?
-
Interesting subject :) Is it used in WW2 or this is something modern?
-
Ooh, Sarinah, you exotic princess! :-razz
-
Girl 'Sarinah' artwork on modern Dutch Mitchell is original!
B-25C No. N5-149 flew with this artwork in 1944 from Austalia.
Later this plane flew at the Indonesian air force AURI!
-
Great Nose-Art :-clap
-
And little update ;)
-
Looks great! :-ok
-
Another thread I haven't seen before! I need to explore LLL a bit more often. During my time with the CAF I spent a bit of time around Miss Mitchell, an honest-to-goodness combat veteran from the MTO. When I was the inspector at the other museum we had another "J" leasing hangar space and I tinkered around on that airplane, helping her regular crew a tiny bit.
I'll be starting a B-25 build thread in the modeling section one of these days. I have a strafer-nosed Monogram kit that I started 25 years ago and I intend to finish it this fall. I would rather do a Dutch "J" but I haven't got the glass nose version of the kit right now.
Great profiles, No.1! :-jump
-
Thank you friends :) Scott- even I don't know what we have here and use Search to find what I need. Your build will be another great thing mate here :-ok
