This is the first one. On every new project I learn something. Here I have learn how to make higlighted edges on overlapping panels, in better and faster way then before. o I will speed up my method of making profiles.

Various- texture, painting and overall it is technique used by cartoon illustrators. See that all shapes are thin black outline, this will give better view in print and dark line will blend into the image.

I have talk about that before and when get time I will make a set of article about the post production method of the profile illustrating. But when get time as well I am definitely smashed with orders.

Santino- here you are small extract of the pattern I use. First is this extract and second is the pattern you have seen on my illustrations in last few weeks. Hope that this for first time could feed your desire.

Ooooooooo- not a lesson at all. This is just quick view on some of tools. there have to be much writings and more images to present full story about texture and illustrating.

So a little bit lighter and more grey? Obviously my profile failed due to the compression for web, as well it is as on your picture, little darker. Thank you :)
