Egypt machine but flown by Soviet pilots, unit is 63 OAO, 1971. At December 15. pair flown by Sergey Maley and Vladimir Mashlakov were attacked by Israeli F-4E who launched Sparrow missiles. But at height of 22.000 meters and speed of 3150 Km/h they was untouchable for the enemy fighters.

Strange but Soviet source state that markings and I have no precise idea :(

It is possible the MIG-25 was flown during the time Egypt and Syria were the 'United Arab Republic'.
The U.A.R. lasted only for a short period but marking could be correct.....
