Beautiful rendering, No.1.

For a small number constructed, there are certainly some interesting operators!

It is interesting, too--I just did some extra research and found that the Orion in the Swiss Transport Museum was originally converted from one of the Altair DL-2A aircraft.

According to what I read yesterday, the Swiss Orion was originally converted from an Altair. This machine started as an experimental metal-fuselage Altair, was damaged a couple of years later and remanufactured at Lockheed into an Orion 9C. Something I've always found quite interesting is that this was the personal plane of Jimmy Doolittle and Paul Mantz owned it later.
