I hope look better... :-wave
-
last update on the camo version...
-
I like the cammo look, and I haven't seen much Italian Sabres, but have you considered to add some shadows or worn-off look to the insignia and numbers? Somehow white is too clean when you see grey and green which are weathered as they should be...
I must emphasize that I am not an artist, and I am looking at your and Srecko's profiles purely as a modeler...
Keep up the great work I really enjoy watching your works :-clap
-
Santino- this is great work!!
-
grazie!
-
thank you all for your kind comments :-red :)
About the white code... :-wise in normal condition the modern aircraft is not so much dirty... recive good maintenace... and is recovered in a hangar... make so much watering effect not is real... very different is the war condition of the same aircraft... :-blah I want to make some f86 operative in korea's war... and play with watering effetcs on it ;)
-
:-ok
Can't wait to see those beauties :-love
Thanks mate
-
Other two italian sabre with camo... :-green :-wave
-
This is early camouflage colors, Forest Green, Grey on topside and Peacock Blue on the underside [on Yugoslav planes] ;)
-
Interesting ifo No.1for the italian air force ( but I think was the standard NATO for that aircraft) the camouflage color was Dark Green Medium Sea Grey and Pru Blue...
do you have some photos about the the Yugoslav F86?
meybe I can make someone for you No.1 ;) :-wave
-
That was later ;) I think... NATO have early set of colors and late set of color and + Canadian colors!
-
for sure Uk, Canada and Italy use the same color... I'm not sure about germany... meybe the underface color war natural metal... I have to check...
I search the Thailan F86 Squadron insignia I want make someone fom my crazy wife... ;) :-wave

Hi all :)
I update the F86 profile for release some USAF metallic version... :-blah
I have prepare 3 example of metal finiture... :-green I need to know wich one look better... :-think
-
great job :-ok
-
thank you Wingman81 :) :-red
I need to know whitch one you prefer or look more metallic than others... ;)
-
I like the second. Probably you could put some rivets on the rudder/tail area then it looks more metallic in this area.
-
Santino my friend- I told you once before to forget about black color as the effect in filter Outer Glow for the panels. In general art is much advanced but this effect is usable for the pattern for the planes in game not for the real presentation and for the color profile art.
-
I try to use your suggestion Srecko... :-think
I hope this version look better... :-wave
-
Yes- this is it. Now lets arrange layers. This layer with panel is under the layer with shadows? If it is not please move it under it. Go to Filter and Add drop shadow, color white, blend mode normal, distance 2 pixels, size some like that, opacity 45-75%. Then copy this layer and place it above the shadows. delete layer style [no drop shadow] and set visibility at 40%.
:-wave
-
I try tu use yout filter sequence... I make 2 variant :)
I hope I done all correct... :-think :-wave
-
Do you think it is better now? I really like it- it can go in any book or magazine in the world. ;)
-
thank you srecko for your kindness :-red
