Nice set of profiles! I believe that what you called a 'captured aircraft' was in fact a Zero carrying the surrendering cross markings. These markings were fitted to aircraft used for transport/escort of the Japanese surrendering committee.

only one question about the surrended zero...
are you sure about the red cros on the white field insignia? meybe I wrong but I remember the surrender insignia for the japanese aircraft was green cross on white field...
