Ikarus 451 -photo montage
« on: January 31, 2008, 03:11:51 AM »
I just tried to make this montage in the course of making material for further photoshop experiments, or as a base for some painting work.
It is imagined scene of experimental Ikarus 451 airplane test flight.
Here are fazes of my work: :-wave

Is it? :) But this is not, or should bee not the end, because I wanted to use this montage in further manipulation. I wonder what can be done in photoshop if I use this like a background and try to paint over it, or somehow else to get more artistic work? I am continuing to drill it and when I do somethin I'll post it. If anybody wants to do something on this or have some idea - You are welcome, use this images. :) :-wave

Yes, You know I wonder how, or what to do now, to draw precisely over this montage. Should I transfer this to Corel (there it is more easier for mi to draw) and than back to photoshop, or to just paint slowly in photoshop and see what would it look like. Whatever, I'll do something. :)

Well, I started to overpaint some parts. I did it in kind of panell sections, and now I see how important is to now exactly how the panels are positioned. On my bacground photo panels are only partialy and very bad seen. Anyway I decided to do it - if eye sees it that way, if camera sees it that way, then I'll paint it that wey. Finaly this is not technical drawing but an artistical view. Color of the airplain is bare metal, so I find some similar tone and did this parts on separate levels, so the combination of different opacity can be applyed, thus giveing a sensation of different metal color  reflection.
Here are examples: first one is all same opacity, second one is with little difference.
Please coment this I'll be very thankfull on eny.

Well, a lot of time had passed, and I had lot of trouble to make something of this photo montage of mine, that looks like a kind of painting. I overpainted lot of surface and used lot of effects. Now here is the result I liked best. :-wave
