correct me if I'm wrong but only a few one of this bird was ever built, 16 or 12 if I remember correctly ? And all of them had white numbers on the fuselage

The white numbers were only used on the fake operational machines with camouflage scheme.
The prototypes flew in all-over alu with civil registrations.

Yes, that was famous propaganda flights which so much influenced West that some pilots claim shoot down of He 100, no matter it was not there at all. There is some info that this unit was used of protection of mother factory and they was brilliant in that role.
