I belive You are right this is Hawker Typhoon F.Mk.IB

All production aircraft of the F.Mk.I were built by Gloster. The individual aircraft are: DN317 (US-C), EK183 (US-A), R8721 (US-X), R8824 (US-H) and R8825 (US-Y), all of 56 Squadron.

Just in case you are interested: attached photos of the Tempest I and Tempest V prototypes.
Tempest I originally flew with same Typhoon-style cockpit as Tempest V!
If wanted I can provide larger-size images!
