Hi Santyno,

very nice material in your first post!!! Basic drawings are excellent done in vector and it look good as final color

profiles. But I am aware about the illumination you have arround the panels and the shapes on the profile. How

this happen and how you make selection during your work on profile? Also note that underwing cross is not

curved to fit the airfoil curvature.

In general I like this profiles but if you change all of this details it willl became master work... just details.

And here you are details about the weaknest point of many of illustrator- how to make curved object.

Object which have to be curved must be alone in layer. Then you hold on keyboard Ctrl and press T. This is

shortcut for transformation object. You will at once note square arround your object. Then you have to switch

into the warp mode and this will be done by press on the mesh icon in task bar in Photoshop CS2. Look at the

image attached. Then you will note that square arround the object is changed into the mesh. This is live object

now!! All you have to do is to click on the points or mesh line and to pull it until you get desirable shape.

Thats it :)

Hi mfg495, Srecko :)
Thank you very much for your kindness and suggestion,
I already changed some details of my artwork for example the cross under the wing.

I used a scanning image of the Bf109e4-trop from scale magazine-medium quality that can found on internet (1718x640 resolution 300dpi grey tone). I select and copy the linedraw to a new layer then I redraw only the Air intake from normal version and this method is faster but there are always some mess with the line art, if you have any other suggestion for resolve this problem, please.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hey man- thats much better. By the way- have you seen the topic "Illustration basic technique"? You have there much more info about color profiles creating. Also one point- I have enlarge your color profile and note teeting shape of the color area. This mean that you have used magic wand for selection. Whenever you can use pen for making path and then convert into the selection. Most precise and most versatile tool!!!
