Kao Chi-Hang

Hawk III in the markings of the leader of the 4th Group of the Republic of China Air Force, Kao Chi-Hang . Kao shot down a Mitsubishi G3M2 bomber over Nanking on July 14, 1937, becoming the first Chinese pilot to engage and shoot down Japanese aircraft during the conflict that led to World War II. His total on this plane is five air victories and one shared. Two if his victim was Japanese A5M fighters.
