:-love :-love :-love
This is the most beautiful WW2 aircraft for me...
I simply love it and its beautiful shape and lines :-love
Thanks for doing this :-obey

I think the Veltro even had more pleasing lines than the Folgore!
This shot was taken in 1981 at Le Bourget during the Paris Airshow.
I can vagely remember this plane was later involved in a crash.

The Folgore was the evolution of Macchi C.200 with DB.601 powerplant... for the first time with that aircraft the "Regia Aeronautica" was able to compete with the same chance against the allies's aircraft , but with only two machine guns was very hard shot down something...

Yes- Veltro is very nice but i still did not analyze much data to see what is the difference on the shape or data. Is Veltro larger?
-
The Veltro is the C.202 with the DB.605 power plant... with more guns... two 12,7mm machine gun inside the fusolage and two MG151 20mm. gus in the wing...
-
So thats all? No problem at all to make later Veltro based on the Folgore layout.
