Now it is time to do my favorite pre war fighter, Dutch Fokker D.XVII. It have beautiful lines, maybe best of all biplanes fighter ever. I start this topic with three steps of work on sky and clouds. This paint will have more live background then the previous one but will also focus on aircraft close up.

Verry realistic clouds my friend :)

Thank you mate ;)

Excuse me for laughing very loudly :-)
This is smiley for that kind expression :-smey And what did I say wrong my friend?
-
Bottom blue... just basic coat. Later will paint details and shadows ;)
-
Gooood! :-clap
-
Thank you mate :) Now I have add light strokes on blue. Enough on this part, will go to work more on fuselage.
-
First coat of fuselage paint is on but it is obvious that few more need to come. It will be with back light so some areas will be very dark.
-
This will be another great masterpiece :)
-
I hope so
-
I do understand G-1, I also laughed on the "wrong canvas" issue :-smey
Doesn't matter, my friend, you might make another similar canvas for Gnat, and this one progresses quite nicely :-ok
-
True, this series of painting are specific by abstract background and focus is given to the aircraft. One of next painting which coming will be Dutch F-104 Starfighter and it will be painted in low level pass over Kinderdijk, area in Netherlands well known by windmills. And windmills as well rivers (???) will be clearly visible.
I make advanced progress on fuselage, forget about strong white lines, they will lost intensity in later work on details.
:-flo

Nice said! ;)

Shouldn't the pilot be looking towards another plane, as if they were doing a mock dog fight?
-
As I know pilot look all around, don't have frozen view in one direction. I will also look at that clouds bellow ;)
