This will be for new book project... basic layout, extract with blueprint and source image for the for the first layout ;)
-
This is the C.X prototype without registration.
Later it received the ML-KNIL registration FCx450 for the Netherlands East Indies and it has flown both with a semi-enclosed and two open cockpits. It crashed on 7 December during a test flight near Hoorn.
-
Thank you Nico :))
-
Nice! :-clap
-
For a moment I will switch to the radial engine version and later will back to the other versions
-
:-ok :-clap
-
Thank you :)) More progress ;)
-
More progress in last 1.5 hours of work
-
Again little work on small details
-
Some 80% completed :))
-
Development completed, first profile coming later :))
-
And the first profile ;)
-
This was pattern machine made by Fokker for licence production in Finland and it definitely did not have the national insignia on its propeller blade. This was typical for C.X with propeller made in Finland.
-
Excellent job my friend!! :-clap :-clap
-
This small detail slip from my eye, will change this later. This one could be interesting, look like local conversion.
-
Conversion with three-bladed propeller!
According to Dutch book by Hugo Hooftman also FK-79 had three-bladed prop!
-
So two samples? I have take a look in dozen of Fin's magazines and one book but no specific info. From this image is obvious more other variations, I give my best to include them in profile.
-
Another one :) I think I will make two more samples.
-
It look like we have similar situation as with one Fokker D.XXI, fabric cover replaced and remained with basic red brown protection color.
-
:-clap :-clap
-
Great work and information, friends!
-
very good!! :-ok :-ok
-
Thank you friends :))
-
And this is last for Finland :)
-
These are all great!
I think I like the radial version even better than inline!
-
At least proven better in combat. Good sample is A-8 Shrike which have inline engine to be changed later to radials
-
Back to first layout and must correct my self- this is Hispano powered version and this in attach is reference image.
-
Close to complete :)
-
Completed :))
-
Machine later got pseudo-military registration X-1.
-
And two others with Hispano engines
-
Excellent profiles mate! :-clap :-clap
-
Beautiful! :-ok
-
Thank you :)
-
Kestrel version in development :) I think I will made prototype :-think
-
More progress :)) I hope I will have tomorrow first profile completed and in next three days whole set of profiles ;)
-
:-clap :-ok
-
First prototype
-
Machine got later registration FCx450. It crashed near the town of Hoorn during test flights with Fokker test-pilot Emil Meinecke. Meinecke survived the crash and later FCx450 was repaired and sent to Netherlands East Indies
-
FCx450 did have difference in external details and I will complete this machine today :)
-
And above mentioned FCx450 :))
-
As far as I know the protrusion showing under the fuselage was the crew's 'relief-tube' and on most pictures it is not visible. Apparently it was a necessity at longer flights......
-
I work illustration in regards to this image ;)
-
Love the Dutch C.X kestrel. :-love
-
:-clap :-clap :-clap
-
Goooood! :-clap :-ok
-
Thank you :) One correction on previous profile and new one.
-
C.10 must have been a formidable 'sports plane'!
Civil registration was used for international flight displays.
-
Just seen now error on civil registered machine... to regret I did not have material in time, whole color have to be more close to US Olive Drab and on rudder must be flag. Also- whole wings are silver. Update coming...
-
Updated previous profile and new version developed. You have also some images of details ;)
-
Next one...
-
Great profiles mate! :-clap :-clap
-
Two more coming ;) Thank you :))
-
One with triangles :))
-
And the last one :)) Thank you for your attention and hope you have enjoy ;)
-
Excellent set of profiles my friend!! :-clap :-clap
-
Beautiful work!!! :-clap :-clap
