Could the second word be an abbreviation for Habicht? Also the two figures just below what may say "Curtiss" look somewhat like "75" which would also make sense. I'll look through all of my Curtiss photos (I just happened to find some material yesterday) to see if I can offer a more educated opinion on this.

Excellent subject matter, as always. It's crazy how many nations flew this little fighter.

I'm reshaping the Wright-equipped cowling ring for the 1/48 Hobbycraft kit in preparation for our GB later this spring. Keep the great profiles coming!

I know it is too speckly but it look good in print ;)
