-
Suggestion for profile!
-
Le Bourget 1965?
-
Ooh...This will be nice! :-tri
I didn't expect this :-clap
-
Yes, correct! My very first Le Bourget visit///
F-102 was based at Soesterbeg; that explains red/whit/blue band on fuselage (Dutch flag colours).
-
All right :))
-
Another one from Soesterberg taken in the late sixties: a dual-seat TF-102A.
Dual TF-102A'a were always rare sight. This version was NOT supersonic!!!
-
With its shape it is impossible to expect that 'double bubble' could fly fast and no way about the supersonic.

Registration no. on tail starts with O (from 'Obsolete' ) and NOT with a 'D'!
O-registrations were all used for pre-1960 machines I believe.

I checked it in the book myself. It is not a trumpet but two horns of a bull or steer with below it the name: 'Texas terror'
by my knowledge.
