Good subject!

When one looks at airplanes like the Simoun and Bf-108 it is amazing that not much has really changed in advanced light planes since the thirties. The designers of these planes set the pace for the post-war low-wing designs, for certain!

There appears to be one airworthy (at least registered in FAA records) here in the U.S. :-ok

Good to know that, is it identical as French machines or some export variation? I ask because I will complete first profile as US Navy sample.

I don't know exactly. The airplane is listed as a C-635 which was the later version but I know very little more.
