No.1, I may have a three-view but nothing really better than the one on the web. I'll see if there is any way I can find my information.

The profile is looking very nice!

This is another of those less well-known ships that I've always found very interesting. The glider-tow version flew in the opening act of the D-Day invasion but these crews got very little in the way of credit for their dangerous missions from the press or books.

Until this order I did not know anything about this machine and now I know that it could be so interesting. Thanks to some material I received a hour ago, I managed to make correction on the profile and more or less this can be accept as useful profile (when completed). In attach is very valuable image as well profile in progress :))

Excellent development program. It certainly captures the look of the Albemarle.

Thank you mate :) Any kits in any scale?

Yes, off the top of my head I can think of a Contrail vacuform (and another whose name escapes me right now) and Valom was going to do a short-run kit, all these in 1/72.

Good that anybody think about the type.

I did a quick search and found a couple of reviews. The Valom kit sounds quite nice and is available through both the auction site and several hobby shops. :-think

Strange... faced with the absolute lack of info about this plane, how to make any kind of review? But all right, this is what can we get.

I'll continue to look for the article I have read. It's in my library somewhere, but no luck on the search just yet.

Indeed, the Albemarle is an interesting plane - I really didn't realize that it would be a complex job to do this one! It'll be for the Market Garden book which is in progress right now.
I studied the photo, and saw that the linnen coverings are actually extending further up to the fuselage, even the fairing around the mid upper turret is linnen. Does every body agree? :-)
Regards,
Edwin

It certainly looks like tube-and-fabric construction, Edwin.

Yes, it have fabric on this area but if you see operational images, they are less visible on operational machines, only was notable on rear fuselage. So I have reduced visibility on some areas...

Well Edwin- complex project is somehow my destiny ;)

It certainly seems to be the case! But you will, as always, make a wonderful drawing out of it, I am sure of that!

Number 1 one of the first Aviation magazines that I had has a kid had a good feature on the Albemarle. It was an Air Classics from the early 1980's. LOL!

I will check my files to see if I have anything. It looks good so far!

I believe I might have that issue also, if only I could find the box it is in.....
