I will try to find some kit in 1/72. But in Serbia,it will be hard. I already contact few model shops, and no one have Viggen,in any scale. :(
If you want join to me,you are welcome! ;)

I think I will have the same problem on this side of the Atlantic....I'll be keeping my eyes open though!

Happy hunting!

Hmm...... :-think a Saab-build, or an all-Swedish-build? There are many possible angles to go on such a GB......

I have only Lansen but they never have 'fields and meadow' pattern. Planes which have this pattern was Saab 105, J-35 (only one sample) and most used by Vigen. That was expensive scheme so aircraft was delivered to unit in natural metal and unit has organized paint in their workshops into that pattern.

Even if I own a MiG-21 SMT, I will pass in August, I'm late enough for the may-june GB... :(

Another topic: what about a GB for the AFV's? We said some time ago to watch until the end of the year. So I propose we begin in december 2011 (some holidays can help to build the kits...), or in january 2012.

First proposal, for the first month: The Sherman tank. All variants accepted.

What do you think about that?

We can also make less GB for the AFV's (one GB for two months, or one GB per season - so we woul begin with Winter GB ;-) )

That was stated in first version of your message (???) Never mind. Draken- why is SMT so important, as I know you have MiG-21? Any specific reason?

I took the liberty of making a list of the current proposals that we've talked about in this thread. This is just informal and we may always switch dates for the best participation of all members who want to join.

May:            Fokker D.VII
June:           Curtiss Hawk 75/P-36.
July:            Open, but Daniel has talked about doing an MV build at some point.
August:       MiG 21.
September: C.R. 42.
October:     Tentatively the F-84 Family?

I hope I haven't missed any that were discussed up to this point. The Japan Build should continue on for a while (in my opinion) and we can just add projects to it as we proceed. And, as always, I suggest flexibility to promote the most builders. :-flo

Opinions and suggestions are heartily welcome!
Scott

I don't know what is MV... ;)
