After the fuselage I started to work on the wings, wings are perfect assembly the engines are little more problematic and the build of them needs a bit more attention, but it's not too bad
The wing tips fits in perfectly, no putty needed on this one !
The hardest part during the wing build is to install the Brassin part under the wing, needs some extra work a lot of attention but it sure worth it !

Well, what can I say, I don't have enough started projects on my work-bench so I had to start another one 
It's a Hasegawa model, scale 1/48 very nicely detailed, look like it will be fun to build it, but first let we see what we can find in the box ( I bought the model second-hand on some modeling event so some of the parts were already taken of the frame but they are all there ) :
Of course I have a lot of " fun stuff " for my A7. Eduard P.E. set :
Aires electronics and wheel bays :
Quickboost lights :
Micro Scale and Super Scale decal sheets as well ( most probably it will the A7 from U.S.S. Forestal but it's a long way 'till there )

And so I joined the two halves of the fuselage. It is pretty good, not too much putty needed, just enough not to get too comfort and lazy but not enough to get me nervous

And finally, Mr Surfacer. And I was nicely surprised, there is not much putty needed to get it done , I see the light on the end of the tunnel

Thank you guys ! Well the cockpit is done. The grey is one of the most difficult colors to " give life " in, during the years I devoleped a painting method of my own which I think works fine, but you will be the judges am I right or wrong......First I applied a wash with burnt umber, it gives the grey a worn out-used look, broke down the monotony of it. This is how it looks :
Then to bring out the shadows with highly diluted black I made a wash again :
And for the last I made a dry brush with light grey, but much lighter than usual because the RLM 66 is too dark and thanks to the scale the cockpit is small so if I made it with a usual dry brush with not so light grey the details, which are great, would be lost, so I had to make a little compromise....
The cockpit details :
And all together mounted in the fuselage :

Very nice ! Those old monogram models have a highly detailed interiors and wheel wells, they only need to be engraved, but if they are " left alone " they are still nice models, once again, a very nice job on this one !
