Best one to use my friend is Eduard's with plenty add ons.Resin plus photo etched parts.Second choise would be Academy's,but suffers from lot of innaccurances like spine,tail wing,landing gear hubs and poor detailed cockpit.
Regarding the money managed to spend on aftermarket kits in order to bring it in life,give a try in Eduards which all the above are included.
Nice effort though,keep on.

One plane that is missing from this wonderfull topic I think,is the republic RC.3 seabee which I have also in model in 1/48 from Glencoe models.
Does anyone have any photos of that at Hatzerim museum?
