Hi,

Here is a kit which was part of a series of six vacu-formed kits from the French manufacturer Ventax of Paris and issued in December 1959/January 1960.
I show you the SO 9050 Trident II in about 1/100 scale.
I found five of those kits some years ago and built only this one. Decals were unusable...

Hi,

The Eduard's kit in 1/48 scale.
This is the plane of Ltt Marchi, the "stunt flyer" of Normandie Niemen...
Markings were made from photos.

This is the very old Lindberg's kit issued in the early 1950s...
Two kits have been necessary to improve accuracy and to modify into the Butterfly Tail model.

Bare metal finish has been obtained thanks to Humbrol "Polished aluminium" itself polished with aluminium powder.

A Bf 109 G-10 (Erla production) of the ANR.
This is the old Revell's Bf 109 G-10 issued in 1978...

Yes there were numerous problems... I don't remember all...
The kit was finished in April 1994 but has been begun some weeks before... and as I'm obstinate...

Hi N°1,

The "Vanneau" didn't belong to the "Aéronavale" but to the "Armée de l'air" : ERC 573 based at Mecknes in Morocco in the 1950's.
(ERC = Escadrille de Réserve à la Chasse)

Hi,

I agree with Javier. The Mirage IIIC looks a little too tall on its landing gear.
The Heller's kit of the Mirage IIIC is a very good base, very accurate in shape and outline.
