High Srecko

I can understand that it takes you some times to realise the exhausts .

Many thanks for these comments .

Now after finishing the radiator flaps , I will begin the wings lines and panel layers , another long run .

An then all details , before depicting real machines .

Few progress tonight

the radiator covers finished and the cooling flaps unfinished (missing rivets and shadow highlight)

I gave a patchy appearance , with several replacement parts , When all panels , lines , rivets will be finished , I will present you a real machine , always depicted in the wrong markings , I got brand new photos of it .

All the best

Dear all

Here are the drawing , now with it engine cowling ... It is the most diifficult part to draw , because of the air intake ... The exhaust are not finished , but I will do it later , it is a separate layer .

All comments are wellcome

This machine W.Nr 310003 , was sent to France .

It was one of the few A-1 sub-typ  with MK108 30 mm canons .

It was never flown by French airforce  , on contrary to W.Nr 120015, 120083, 120223 .

It is clear that the insignias were painted during the time the unit waited for Allied troops  to reach Leck . We have  2 wartime photos of W.Nr 120015 , taken at Ludwigslust , without insignias . The arrows on  the other hand where apllied when the unit flew in operation.

Hello Srecko

I used both pen and paintbrush , this is the first stages after representing all rivets .

For the rivets what do you suggest ? I made them with a round form  - pen - 39 to 45% but this layer as no external light  on contrary to the layer with the line panels .  One side should be highlighted and one in the shadow (very thin) . Do you suggest to diffuse a little bit more the rivets ?

When all riveting , panel lines and rivets will be done on all parts I plan to make a camouflage painting test , to verify that the highlights and shadows are not too much exagereted , is it a good method ?

I will try to to use your method to make bare metal extension plug and wings undersrfaces . I have  an incredible number of layers now ! 35 or something like that !
