Looks great! One of the best B-25 paint schemes in my opinion.

Continuing with the models I've finished in the time of inactivity here on LLL is another kit that's been in waiting for years. This Dragon Ju-88 finally saw completion and was another relaxing build.

Thanks!

I'm in the process of getting some decals for another project, the B-36 in 1/72. I've had one of these since the 1990s with the wrapping on it and opened it for the first time last week. Seems that Monogram/Revell forgot to put the decal sheet and instructions in the box!

Not only are the decals and instructions missing from my B-36--I pulled everything from the box and also discovered the clear fret is not there and some small interior parts are gone also, as well as the tail turret and 20mm cannon. I bought this kit from a big hobby shop in the Dallas area and now I realize that someone had bought the kit and returned it to the store after taking what he needed. Either the thief or the hobby shop resealed it and stupid me never opened it for twenty years. Not the blame of Revell/Monogram at all as I thought at first. I'll simply have to either find the parts (not likely) or raid the spares boxes for what I need and vacuform the canopy and front glazing. I still have the side blisters for the gunners and scanners that I didn't use on the FICON model, so at least I have something!!

Thank you, friends! This is such a pleasure to build--Tamiya kits almost build themselves!

Thanks!

The Tiger is actually finished but still needs to have photos taken.

Thank you, Daniel.

I was originally going to build this in a non-USAF scheme but never got around to finding decals. Since I wanted to work with the Vallejo NMF paints I used the kit decals. I did mask and spray the yellow/black stripes but everything else is from Tamiya. The decals worked really well considering their age.... :-wise

Speaking of B-36s, here is an ancient project of mine. I built this 1/72 GRB-36D/RF-84K FICON team in the 1980s and it hung in our living room for several years. When we moved away from that house I broke it down into smaller sections and it's moved around with us until last week. I reassembled everything and hung it in the only spot I have room, in my shop right above my airbrush station.

Twelve years after I started this F-84, I've finally finished it. More photos later!

One good thing about this build taking many years is that new products have come out since I started it. My first set of turret numbers never satisfied me as they were larger than those on the real tank. At the time I applied them they were all that was available. Recently I found this great sheet and was lucky enough to find one.

Here are photos of the original numerals, after I stripped them from the turret and the new decals after installation.
