Hello No. 1,

I have just discovered your build on this forum.  Very nice interior.

Thanks very much for sharing the video of the SPAD diorama!  Did you build it?

And what a great video.  I liked the music with it too.  I would like to learn how to do videos like that.

I think that SPAD hanging from the ceiling is a XVII.  Very different nose profile.

Keep up the great work and please keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks,
Dave

Hello Janier_planells, I am new to this forum and I have just discovered your SE5a build thread.

Nice build photos, I could never work in such a small scale.  I don't know how you do it.  I am detailing out a smallish radio control flying SE5a foamie by E-flite.  It is in 1/12th scale.

Have you done any more work on your SE5a?  We would all like to see it.

Also, could you share where you got all of the neat reference for your build?  I have the Squadron SE5 in action, and photos I have found on the internet.  But I don't know where to find photos like you show on your work bench.

Thanks,
Dave

No. 1,

Thanks for the welcome.  I like to see what other modelers are doing around the world and not just on one forum.  This forum is a new breath of fresh air, a new place to learn.  Thanks again, No. 1.

Jicehem,

The pin hole camera is a great tool, but you have to have something worthwhile to photograph.  Unfortunately it can also show up mistakes big-time but I didn't notice any!!

Your FW190-9s are great.  And photographing them from a "scale" position lets them shine!

It is a neat idea to view your models through the pinhole lens to look for out-of-scale areas on them!  Thanks for the idea.

You can also shoot your models outside against a real background of trees, hills, cloudy skies and they will be in focus too!

Have you done any build threads on your models?

Dave

Jicehem,

I am new to this forum and I have just discovered your FW 190 D-9s!

They are truly magnificent!  Beautiful build. :)

You are one of the very few that knows to use a pin hole lens to keep all in acceptable focus.

Bravo! :-obey

Dave

Great kit and amazing photos  :-clap
This is 1/72 or...

Hi,

The color picture presents the 1/72 scale Airfix kit improved with a sliding canopy, etc.

The first black and white photo shows a model that I almost scratch-built at the time no kit of the Fw 190 D-9 did exist. It's a 1/48 model.

The other photos show this 1/48 scale model in the foreground and a 1/72 scale kit (Airfix;  representing "weiße 9 of JG 301) in the background... Photos were made through a pinhole.

Cheers,
Jicehem
