Here you can see the construction of the rear gunner's machine gun.Note that Royall Hellenic Air Force had ordered a signifficant number of Belgian manufactured Browning FN32 7,62mm cal. in early 40ies to arm all types of aircrafts. So none German aircraft type like Do-22 or Hs-126 were delivered with German made machine guns.

For the construction were used modified parts from British Mk.II Browning 0.303 with the magnifficent Master's alluminium barrel.

Then it was mount it on the D.W.N Hebert type susspension which is made of soldered copper rod.
Need only to be added the almost finished ammo feed tray (could be placed both sides, deppended on the gunner's decission),the "vane" type foresight, which is not glued in possition. It is placed backward properly connected with a rod with the front smaller foresight which is not added yet.
And last,a bag under the main gun body for collecting the empty ammo shels.

Hi there after a long period of absence. :-wave
When you have two little monsters among your feet crowling, shouting crying or loughing all the time, touching everything in an effoert to learn, and in this stage believe me they are learning by puting everything in their mouth or listening to the sound is made by dropping and breaking everything...there are not much you can do,trust me.
Finally stole some time of valuable sleep, very late at nights in order to build my latest project.
More models understructure are yet waiting the time to be completed.
This is my resin model:

Aircraft Modeling / Re: December Group Build - MiG-29

Hi there after a long period of absence.
Nice efforts in one of my favourite cold war planes.I have two of them and hope to start them once upon a time, wearing Begemonds BuAf or new Serbian roundels.Especially the new Serbian colour scheme,as Slovakian digital camo also are both very eye catching.
I had the chance to watch a pair of Bulgarian Mig-29,one single A and a two-seater trainner from GRAF IGNATIEVO Air Base live in the air, and on the ground when participated in the common exercise BRAVE HEART SOUTH 2008 co-operating with our F-16C/D from 330/341/347 Squadrons of the Hellenic Air Force in 111

A pretty big, lovely ugly, old but still reliable (though the initial A type needs much upgrates to keep up with the NATO standarts) will be in my next projects for sure.

Indeed Scott. It's enormous. But I will give it a try.At the moment are two wip on my workbench waiting to finish them, and post them.It will be a surprise!
HAF had B type wearing the old NATO green/gray camo ;)
The whole fleet is being to an update programme (AUP)now including new color scheme, just alike the C-27 Spartans wear.Overal grey. Two are ready and was lucky to travel once.
Srecko note that the above sheme is for the H type.I think yours is B.

Nice job as usual No1.Another option you might concider is the well known 170.000 hours aniversary scheme that have been logged by the Hellenic Air Force's C-130 Hercules squadron. The perfect occasion for a special tail depicting Greek God Hercules himself on the airplane that bears his name.
I have the decal sheet set and planning to finish my 1/48 italeri "giant" one day(I have also spent many hours in that type)

A good modeller knows when to stop when he feels that this must be done for his own reasons, and catch it up with later. Not to harry, give it a try when you are ready. But your skills in that job are very promissing.Good luck mate.

Trully amazing and very professional job indeed.I enjoyed every step of the construction.Well done pall.
I agree that some fading work must be done on the linen surfaces.
An easy and very reallistic effect would be some small touches with oils and fade them panel to panel by stroking them with a flat brush.Or even pastels, but with the fever of loosing them as time goes by,or leaving some fingerprints. You can seal them by blending them using some turpentine.A nice dusty effect.Dont forget also the engine grime and oils running towards the spine and the faded tail rudders from the fumes. Some chipping on the fuselage would be a nice touch too.
Please don't accept my piece of advice if you desire, this is only my personal taste, the model is yours,of course.
Well done again.
