Yes, I know Falcon's conversion kit and it's not so accurate as we can think, espacially the canopies... Top glasses are flat contrary to the reality where these glasses are slightly curved...

Surely not... Because I don't like this sort of "short-run" kit... I prefer modifying a well injected kit... And also perhaps in 1/48 scale.

-Photo of the XF-104 Starfighter prototype with J-65 engine, short fuselage and intakes without the shock wave cones. Luftwaffe markings are fake. Also wing-tip Sidewinders are fake.

Maybe, it's the reason why, in 1963, Lindberg issued their XF-104 with German markings ?

Yes, reinforced canopy (and in-flight refuelling device) that appeared on the F-84G was retrofitted on most previous models (mainly F-84Es).

France produced the Breguet Br 1050 "Alizé" for the same rôle...

Hi everybody,   

My last build : Tamiya's P-51D Mustang of the Corean War. The scale is 1/72 and the kit is built out of the box. Metallic rendering is obtained with Humbrol Metalcoat "Polished Aluminium" brushed by hand and polished with aluminium powder from SNJ.
