Image is from Wikipedia, GNU License  :-green Just felt the need to address the author.

Well done Wingman81.

I feel that if you do use information from other than your own sources you should state where that information came from.
Too many times I have seen images on other sites each stating that the images was someone else's.
I have even seen some of my imagery on GoogleEarth.  :-evil

Combat Warplanes / RAF Eurofighter Typhoon Bomber
« on: June 10, 2008, 08:50:26 AM »
Yes, they have now tested dropping 1,000lb Paveway 2 laser guided bombs (LGB) from a Typhoon  :-eek

While taking part in Green Flag, a major exercise held at Nellis United States Air Force (USAF) Base in Nevada, seven Typhoons from XI Squadron, based at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire, dropped munitions and fired their cannons with such precision that they have been declared combat ready.

Combat Warplanes / Re: Soviet fighters
« on: May 24, 2008, 03:35:16 PM »
Hmm ok i see...i didnt know Soviet Union used 3000 of these  :-red

Under the Lend-Lease Act, the Soviet Union would receive roughly 3,000 Kingcobras to supplant their existing Airacobra squadrons and the Soviets would go on to utilize the Kingcobras to good effect as strike fighters and interceptors. Soviet engineers and test pilots actually were flown into the Bell development center to offer up advice on further developments of the Kingcobra system that would ultimately lead to various and beneficial improvements as a whole.

Ah, Tucano (I turned round the World in it :), in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 of course).
Am I wrong if I say that Shorts company produced them in UK, or again I am talking nonsense??? :-think :-think :-think

RAF Website - "The Tucano T1 is a modified version of the Brazilian Embraer EMB-312 Tucano aircraft, and is built under licence by Shorts of Belfast. The Tucano is operated primarily from No 1 Flying Training School, at RAF Linton-on-Ouse, to provide basic fastjet flying training to RAF and RN student pilots, and basic WSO training to all potential RAF WSOs. Student pilots fly around 130 hours during their training course on the Tucano before progressing to the Hawk T1 aircraft at RAF Valley."
